Br. Benedict Ayodi serves as Program Manager- Africa. For the last six years, he has been serving as the director for the office of Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) at the General Curia of the Capuchin Franciscans in Rome. He previously worked as the regional director of the Damietta Peace Initiative (DPI), a grassroots-based peace project promoting the values of Justice, Peace, interfaith dialogue and care for the environment in Africa. Being a Capuchin Franciscan friar, Benedict follows in the footsteps of St. Francis by caring for nature and advocating for climate justice. He currently resides in Nairobi, Kenya

Antonio coordinates the programs for Italy, through the Laudato Si’ Animators training and the coordination of the Laudato Si’ Circles. He is also member of the eco-spirituality international team and in Assisi he leads the pilgrims in the retreats in the Franciscan sanctuaries. He is an architect and he has designed and built low-energy impact buildings. Moreover, he has been monitoring urban and environmental activities for petrochemical sites in Sicily and hospitals throughout Italy to reduce the emissions. He has thought Italian to asylum seekers in the Diocese of Assisi and has been working as spiritual guide in the Shrine of the Spoliation, leading his first ecumenical prayer for creation, besides having organized with the Diocese and the franciscan families a variety of events for creation. He is the author of the book “Vivi Laudato Si'”, by Edizioni Francescane Italiane, a book about the franciscan roots of the encyclical of Pope Francis and its relation today with the action. Married to his wonderful wife, Angelica, he has two beautiful sons, Francesco and Emanuele, and a nice dog named Jumpy.

She brings over 22 years of service in FOCSIV where she was responsible for campaigns on sustainable lifestyles and climate justice (lobbying and advocacy) in collaboration with CIDSE and others Italian Catholic associations and part of the Justice and Peace Commission of the Italian Bishop Conference. She works on a secondment based in the FOCSIV office in Rome.

She has managed largescale research and implementation projects supporting national and EU public policies as well as commercial projects for private and public entities. He was previously a Fulbright Scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School, served in the UN Climate Secretariat helping prepare the COP21 climate summit, worked for Google in Latin America and Southeast Asia, and co-founded a grassroots Catholic organization working in the slums of Buenos Aires. He completed a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in climate policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and a Master’s degree in Public Policy at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. He grew up in Buenos Aires, where he had his spiritual home with the Franciscan friars, and lives in Rome with his wife, Vicky.

Erin is an ecological theologian who holds a BA. in English from Princeton University, an MA in Theology from Boston College, and a Ph.D. in Theology from Fordham University. She is on the faculty of St. Elizabeth University and served as an Earth Institute Fellow at Columbia University. Erin is the author of two books, Inspiring Sustainability: Planting Seeds for Action and The Paradox of Christian Sacrifice: The Loss of Self, the Gift of Self, as well as articles on energy ethics and faith-based environmentalism. A long time activist within the Catholic and interfaith environmental and divestment movement, she lives in New York with her husband and two sons.

She has an extended history of working in the environmental justice sector, most recently serving as Africa Program Director with WildAid and Greenpeace Africa over the past six years. From drafting mineral legislation with communities affected by mining in Ghana and advocating for the right to affordable clean water in Southern Africa to the fight for climate justice internationally, Lindlyn’s heart and career have centred on protecting the environment for the enjoyment of all. Lindlyn lives in remote Johannesburg, where she shares the joy of organic gardening with her husband and three children. She believes in joining the LSM family; she is deepening her faith in synergy with her vocation.

Ana Paula serves as the Administrative and Programs Assistant. She has a Multilingual Bachelor’s degree in International Business and International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. She has previously worked with Academia and International Organizations at the Andean Center for International Studies of Simon Bolivar Andean University, where she coorganized a Regional Seminar on climate change migration. Ana Paula believes in working alongside communities and individuals in order to make a change.

He has gained long-standing experience in business planning and cost analysis and as a management consultant helps organizations to improve their performance. He also has served for many years as the Chief Administrative Officer for several Italian Ngos. He lives in Rome with her wife and their daughter.

Mateusz has 10 years of experience in running social campaigns. He is a co-founder of the “Folkowisko” Association and the Polish Humanities Crisis Committee. He was also a co-creator of the economic education program “Labor market: manual”. He is a Doctor of Theology and Religious Studies from Nottingham University.
He lives with his wife Magdalena and daughter Aniela in Warsaw.

Environmental lawyer for over twenty years, Svitlana holds a PhD in Environmental, Natural Resources, Land and Agrarian Law and a doctorate on Climate Change Law, Climate Governance and Climate Policy. She collaborated with many international institutions, including IUCNAEL, USAID and CAN EECCA. After years of lecturing at the University, international expertise in environmental, energy and climate law and public advocacy on the environmental rights of local communities, including grassroot campaigning against the fossil fuels, Svitlana is a climate activist, green strategist and a campaign manager, passionate about climate justice, ending fossil fuels, green finance and green inclusive economy. Most recently led, designed and managed successful regional and national Climate, Fossil Free, 100% RE till 2050, Just/Green Recovery and Green Deal campaigns in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia for 350.org. Lives in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine with her husband and two kids.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and her Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University, and studied environmental issues in Botswana while in undergraduate school. She has also obtained the CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) accreditation. She resides outside Chicago with her husband, two cats, and puppy.

Mayra Santos serves as National Secretary for YUFRA’s Northeast Area A – Youth Franciscan of Brazil, and as Regional Secretary for JUFRA Ceará and Piauí States (Brazil). She also served as Secretary for Human Rights, Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (DHJUPIC) in regional dimensions at YUFRA Brasil and in services for the local YUFRA fraternity in her hometown. Mayra is a Biologist, Master in Zoology working in the area of conservation and biodiversity, and she is enrolled in the Doctorate of Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation. Currently, she lives in Floriano, Brazil.

Cliona has spent 13 years working on climate justice advocacy with LSM members and Partners. She previously worked for the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and has worked at EU and UN levels. Cliona lives in Ireland.

Anna brings over 15 years of leadership on environmental campaigns. Most recently, she was the Engagement Lead for Greenpeace USA’s campaign to end single-use plastic. Prior to that, she built local, regional and national mobilizing programs that activated thousands of Greenpeace supporters on a variety of campaigns. She believes effective social change movements require faith organizing, and that spiritual communities can support resilience for building a just and equitable future. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and outspoken preschooler, River Grace.
